Developed with Danish knife designer Jesper Voxnaes, the Utvær brings a modern, purposeful approach to the traditional Scandinavian bushcraft knife.

Voxnaes has a well established reputation for knives that balance aesthetics with serious field performance, and the Utvær reflects that. The 105mm Sandvik 12C27 blade uses a Scandi grind that performs cleanly through carving and cutting tasks while offering the corrosion resistance that matters on multi-day trips in wet Canadian conditions. At 3.0mm thick, it sits in the practical middle ground between a dedicated slicer and a knife capable of harder camp work. The extended pommel is a deliberate design choice, giving you a striking surface for rougher tasks when the situation calls for it.

Full tang construction runs the length of the handle, with two rivets securing hand sanded curly birch scales backed by Vulcan fibre, a combination that keeps the grip stable and moisture resistant through extended use. The handle is sized well for small to medium hands, fitting naturally without feeling cramped. The 2021 update introduced a redesigned deeper leather sheath that carries the knife more securely on the belt, a practical improvement for anyone moving through bush or on and off the water regularly.
